BLAH

Well, not much going here. I hope to get back into things soon. Brett caught some nasty virus Friday and has had a fever since. He started breaking out in bite-like, welt looking things. Poor baby. And he is not sleeping well, which means I am not getting any sleep either. Hopefully I don't get this bug. Thank goodness my big boys go back to school today. Its been a fun week. When will spring REALLY be here? Well off to take care of my baby. Hope to posting some artwork soon! Have a great week!

This boy card also includes Rustic abc and A Birthday Wish stamp sets. The colors are: colonial white, indian corn blue, and cocoa.

BLOOM

No these are not form this year yet! I wish it was this warm and all the flowers would start blooming!! I figured thatscrapping some spring pics would make it feel a little more like spring. These are from a tree in our back yard. They always look so pretty!! I love to watch new things emerge after winters snow and cold.

EASTER

Happy Easter! I know its late, but we had a busy weekend and I was not able to post earlier. Iwanted to share a few Easter picks with you. We are so truely blessed to celebrate this holiday. This year, I was stumped by my 9 year old when he asked why we have bunnies and eggs for Easter. It was an experience I am glad that I got to share with him as we researched together.I was so glad to be able to get the kids to look nice for a change. Brett wouldn't sit for th picture unless I held him. Oh, well. At least now I'm in the picture. That is usually not the case.

HERE'S LOOKING AT YOU!!

Brian had too much fun making eggs this year! I couldn't believe how real they look!! I so LOVE his sense of humor. That's my man!

PRECIOUS MOMENTS

The Sweet Pea collection is so cute for those baby girl pictures. I still have lots of baby pictures of Olivia to scrap. I just love precious moments like these. Babies are such precious gifts, and she looks so precious and angelic in these pics.

LITLLE FLAPPER GIRL

No title yet. I was trying to think of one. then while taking the picture, Little Flapper Girl popped. I think that works. Olivia got this dress for Christmas from my brother and his wife. It is so cute. Olivia looked like a Little Flapper from the 1930's. (I think thats the right year) Especially with her short hair. She loved putting on a performance for all of us, and still does!!

Here is an up close shot! She LOVES to entertain!!

FAMILY

These are pictures from Brian's brother Chad married in December of 2005. This page was done and waiting for pictures. I wanted some that went along with the words on the sticker.
"Our family is a circle of strength and love with every birth and every union, the circle grows. Every joy shard adds more love. Every obstacle faced together makes the circle stronger." The sticker is from CTMH along withe the papers and sparkles.

ENOUGH ALREADY

Brett is CUTE, even when he is sad. This was last October when I was taking pictures of he and Olivia. By the end he was tired and just wanted to be done! He lasted quite a long time though. If he was a better walker, I'm sure he would of just left.

EASTER BUNNY

Well, I had to get back to scrapping. I love making cards, but LOVE scrapping more!!! I wanted to use some of the new CTMH paper that has been sitting on my desk. I have more ordered and it will be here today!! YEAH!!! You have already seen this picture of Olivia with the bunny, but now its ready for her book. The butterfly was made with CTMH big pinks, a spiral clip, and beads! I have seen so many other people use these flowers for other things, I had to give it a try. Olivia was very sad that I cut the pretty flower, but she liked the butterfly better she said.

B IS FOR BABY

Wow! I am actually keeping up and posting more this week. It helps that the little ones are taking a good nap. AHHH!!! Here are a few more baby cards. The baby rattle card is a shaker card. It is my first attempt at this technique. I think they turned out pretty cute! The other cards I made with some scraps of paper I am trying to get rid of. I also got to use my cuttlebug to make the ribbon slides on them. I just ordered some emboss and cut dies, I can't wait to test those out!!

BABY BABY

Here are a couple more cards for next month. I don't know how I'm going to choose which ones to use. The first one was inspired by stampin up. it even uses a stamp of theirs. I know!! This stamp set is very old. I can't get rid of everything. And variety is good!! The girl one is just using up some scraps. Enjoy!!

LOVE

I absolutely LOVE moments like these!! I can't believe Olivia was picking her nose! at least that is a smaller picture. I hope they always love each other this much!

LOVE BIRDS

This was a fun one too! i used my cuttlebug to emboss the background paper and then used CTMH creat a shade pearl paint, to give it shimmer. I am deabting about putting for the love birds on the front or not. Give me tyour thoughts on this post and I'll pick someone random to win a prize!

EMBOSSING POWDER

I saw this technique in a recent paper crafts magazine. I hope you like it. It is 3 layers of thick embossing powder and then you stamp it, while it is still hot. This was my first try. It was fun and I hope to use it some more!! I even got a little cracked glass action from when I trimmed it.

PRETTY PRETTY PRINCESS

The boy are going to hate me for this when they get older, but I'm glad they played one of Olivia's games with her. Usually they want nothing to do with anything girly.

SNEAK PEEK

Here are a few cards that i have been working on for next month.

SOMETHING DIFFERENT

the stamped flower is done in a technique called the chalkbord technique. I stamped in white daisy and then sponged chalk over the top. Something different!! I tried it on cocoa cardstock too, just didn't snap a shot of that one.

EASTER BUNNY

Can you believe that this is Olivia's 1st picture with the Easter bunny!! I feel so bad. I used to take the boys every year. I am glad we were at the mall at the right time. She absolutely LOVED it!!! She didn't want to leave. Which is nice, because at Christmas, we wiated in line and then half way up she didn't want to see Santa.

Well, another week has gone by since I last entered anything!! One of these times I will post more often. We continued to fight the flu again last week and this week with Olivia and Brett. Hopefully everyone stays more healthy this week. It did give me a chance to sit down and relax with my kids. I had some quality one on one time with Brady. I think we both needed that!!
Well I hope you have liked what I have been posting so far. I am working hard to get projects done for next months workshops. I hope you enjoy them! With Spring here(at least it felt like it on Friday) I got to thinking of what to do next month. Well in the next few months it seems a lot of loved ones will be having babies or getting married, so . . . i will be having a workshop featuring just baby and wedding cards and things!! I am so excited about this one!! I am not a big card maker, but I loved putting some of these cards together. Well I hope you enjoy! Have a creative and blessed day!!

PLAYIN CATCH UP

here are a few recent layouts that i finished lately.

my Army Boy

SK8R
Olivia and me

Brock school pics from 3rd grade

DID YOU TAKE THE CHALLENGE?

In my march newsletter, I included a color combo(from someone else)and a sketch(not mine). Well here is mine. I used the colors from the combo and the sketch together.

SO SWEET

I love my kids!! On his way home from school, our oldest, Brock stopped at the gas station and got me a birthday present! With his allowance!! I know he was saving the money for a new game and he used it to buy me something! I felt SO special!! he bought me a rose and an Almond Joy bar! He is so sweet!

CUTE AS A BUTTON

Here is the workshop project that we will be doing this month. I hope you can make it! It uses CTMH card kit Cute as a Button. This is a friend version. I had some left over cards and envelopes, I am making a baby girl one now. These are so quick and easy and make great gifts!

KEEPING UP

there is just not enough time in the day to keep up with everything!! Well to update since our last post - we signed Olivia up for preschool. She was so excited!! She thought she was starting that day. I think we are getting over our last case of the sniffles and such. Ihope for awhile at least! I celebrated my 32nd birthday last Friday and Brian has his this coming Sunday, so we are taking a night out this weekend! YEAH!! With 4 kids, these kinds of night usually are far and few between. well that is enough for now. For all you friends going to HEarts at Home this year, Have a GREAT weekend!!
